Business concept you will be working on has been througouhly tested and modeled prior to venture launch so to mitigate timing risk and mismatch with market needs (which accounts for 40% of startup failure).
Our team of successful entrepreneurs will support you on every steps of venture building, along with our trustful service partners (designers, product owners,developpers, growth hackers, etc.).
Our team will also take care of every non core-business activities so you can focus ongrowing the business.
We invest in average CHF600k upfront to fuel the first 12 months of business operations.
On the longrun we help our founding teams to raise fresh capital by connecting them to alarge network of Venture Capitalists, Corporate Venture funds and businessangels.
The role
As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, you will be entrusted with the essential task of developing and evaluating upcoming projects within our dynamic portfolio. With a focus on Insurtech, Fintech and Proptech, you will leverage your extensive experience to drive business development from ideation to market validation. And if successful, you'll have the opportunity to join the company's management, translating initial plans into tangible success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Business Development: Identify and evaluate market opportunities to create compelling new startups in finance, insurance, energy, and real estate technology.
• Strategic Leadership: Creating and refining our companies' business models, guiding them from concept to commercial viability.
• Go-to-market strategy: Define and execute robust go-to-market strategies, ensuring our companies capture and dominate their respective markets.
• Operational Excellence: Provide operational support and eventually take on a hands-on management role within the company.
• C-level transition: Depending on the needs of the business and your skills, take on a permanent C-level role to guide the strategic direction of the business.
• An experienced professional with a proven track record in one or more of the following sectors: Insurtech, Fintech, Proptech.
• A dynamic individual with a warrior mindset, able to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape with agility and insight.
• A strategist with a builder's mentality, striving for excellence in all facets of business development.
• Good knowledge of German-speaking Swiss business practices and the Swiss startup ecosystem.
• Fluency in German and English, with fluency in French being a considerable asset.
